My mind won’t slow down!
I’m getting these fast and obsessive type thinking.
Hopping from one subject to another - obsessing on the same things!
I guess I must still be a bit manic.
I raised the risperidone starting yesterday.
It’s going to take some more time.
Sounds a bit manic to me too. Here’s to the summer
It sounds like you’re staying on top of things! That’s good!
Thanks @Moonbeam - I’m trying
Sorry your going through this @Wave, keep the loops positive, can you play some favorite media to some of the loops?
I find I can do some amazing cleaning when I get like this, either I scrub all the paint off something, or the edges of almost every surface get cleaned- but not the rest.
Better than nothing?
It’s kind of strange because I don’t feel so revved up physically.
It’s more of a mental thing.
My mind won’t shut off!
Yeah it’s a constant rapid loop!
I’d get this before, and yeah, you’re right, by the time I made my first cup of coffee, I’d have written a partial to do list about 5 pages long.
Before I’d finish that same cup of coffee, everything became tangled up in a pile of useless stuff on the paper, and I’d abandon the list in search of something easier to pursue.
Nothing ever comes to mind…
I know how you feel, @Wave. I hope things get better, soon.
I’m dealing with similar problems, although now it’s starting to effect my behaviours as well.
This too shall pass.
Do you feel like you can’t switch off ? Do you sometimes feel you are not aware of the rapid thoughts until you pause a moment to look back and you can see you’ve made way more plans than what see normal?

I am worried because when I get manic it’s hard to slow it down.
My mania becomes a runaway train!
It can rapidly get worse to the point where I become seriously paranoid and delusional with zero insight!
If im manic tomorrow im contacting my psychiatrist immediately.
I really don’t want to end up in that God forsaken Hospital again.
It’s good you have insight. I find racing thoughts hard to detect but apparently I have them - if it doesn’t slow down you know what to do. Stay safe.
