Its hard to do anything right now but i managed to join a group today that was doing field recording, i like the idea of gathering different sounds and seeing what i can do with them, anyway it was for a radio station called Radiophrenia and i was interested bc of the name, i said it sounds like schizophrenia and i asked the guy in charge why it was called that and he said he didnt know. Long story short it was a good day and i’m going back tomorrow despite my lack of energy & sudden depression, it was good fun

Great idea, I’m thinking of doing sound collages, maybe we share it here, i saw there are a lot of sharing sites for wav. files, what about ufile, seems to be a good free host, it’s available for 30 days, after that time they delete it, no data mountain, like a flow.

It was just learning how to use the recorders then recording sounds to do with fire, earth, water, air
Today i did it again but it was different, we had to arrange words to make sentences/ poetry, it was nice then we walked down to the river recording things, we got caught in the rain & we all go soaked but the recorders & headphones were put in a waterproof bag.

I used to do sound collage myself, thinking of taking it up again. They’re resurfacing the road in front of my house, I’m gonna get some good machinery/industrial sounds. Should be fun.

I like the sitar sounds, I’m a bit dumb when it comes to arpeggiators and things but i’m hoping to get to grips with vital, I’m probably the worst musician in the world.
