I said that as what I think a serial killer should say on death row.
Because the things they actually said (from the video) was actually really tame - not eerie.
Their expressions all pointed to a problem with their development and not a sign of actual conscience intelligence. Pretty much the opposite of what you might see portrayed on television.
Some of the guys on death row do things that make you want to kill them. They deserve it. However, to warrant a death sentence a crime must be especially heinous, and it needs to be thoroughly vetted so that we don’t put innocent people to death. In the only nonfiction book he ever wrote, the author John Grisham told a story about how an innocent, but odd, eccentric, and mercurial young man was almost put to death, in spite of his innocence. They came within five days of executing him. We need to be absolutely sure that never happens again.
