Questions about Auditory Delusions

This is my first time posting a question. I’m new to this sight. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia years ago, but have never met anyone with it. I have auditory delusions and wondered if anyone could give me an opinion about how I hear some of the things I hear. The other day I walked into a fast food restaurant and 2 ladies were sitting at a table by the door. They were looking at me and one said something I’ve thought I’ve heard before but haven’t really heard clearly until I heard this lady say it. Basically, my delusion is that I did something wrong at some point and everyone everywhere is talking about it. Did I really hear this lady say something or is it possible I completely hallucinated it? As well, I was once walking from one building to another. It was very quiet outside and there were 2 people walking a little behind me. They were just talking in regular voices. Not loud, not whispering. Again I thought I clearly heard one of them say something that I 've thought I’ve heard before but not as clear as this. Did the person really say it or is a hallucination? Does this happen to anybody else. Sorry my post is so long.

Sounds like it could be an hallucination. I’ve had sort of similar experiences with hearing on people say things that they likely didn’t say.
