Does the 1000 posts/thread limit also apply to private messaging? Should I start a new thread when I get close to that limit?

I’m not there yet, but I’m on my way?

Lol. I don’t think it will crash the forum. I was just joking when I said the “forum will explode” if threads go past 1000, way back when. It’s just a thing we do. Maybe so anyone starting the thread from the beginning won’t have to read 10,000 old posts? IDK. I don’t think it has anything to do with crashing anything.

PMs have a 500 limit. They automatically close, so make a new one when it does.
