Question about meds and smoking or vaping

i know that smoking tobacco makes it so that u need a higher dose of meds but does smoking anything other than tobacco have the same affect on the cytochrome p4501a2 enzyme thing that affects how meds are absorbed or is it just something that is in tobacco smoke. i vape nicotine on olanzapine and it doesnt have any effect on meds that i notice but also i read that vaping doesn’t interact. but i am wondering for example if someone smoked a non tobacco cigarette (which is usually like just dried herbs leaves in the same paper as a regular cig but with no nicotine or tobacco) would it have the same interaction with meds as a tobacco cigarette?

Tobacco smoking can affect some meds (like Olanzapine for example). But nicotine (like vaping) has no effect. Strange but true.

But if you stop or start smoking tobacco you should tell your psychiatrist.

I told my team I vape and they were non-reactive. It doesn’t do anything if you vape.
