Human brain can be downloaded and uploaded to 2.5 Peta bytes digital storage device. Longevity is to be achieved through science and technology.
But I will give two distinct examples to suggest why this project will fail.
OPPOSE THE PROJECT: Human brain can never fully understand human brain, no matter through what means.
Moral integrity is something that these researchers will never understand.
SUPPORT THE PROJECT, BUT: Human is not just about consciousness and memory. Quantify the emotion and digitize the mood will likely make the project more interesting.
I don’t really have a comment besides that it is very interesting. As long as people including their brains and consciousness are kept safe and well, then I am open to whatever. I think we need to avoid pain and discomfort.
I read something similar in Ray kurweil’s book the singularity about 10 years ago. So I guess it would be possible. I see it as you still die but you just make an ai clone.
Would this still qualify as one of my ‘silly’ delusions that I’m well aware of what happens on the human test subject end?
Oh the things they just can’t quite figure out no matter how much they try…
still eludes them due to complexity.
So ya’ can download my thoughts and all from my sleep, but still, the bad news, it only makes sense to the owner.
sigh.
