If you do not have psychosis. Are all your problems gone? Or do you still have psychological problems when you do not have psychosis?
I don’t have psychosis but I’ve got 99 problems.
Everyone has problems. Those who are psychotic, those who have their psychotic symptoms in control, and those who don’t have any diagnosis or metal health issues.
I’m not floridly psychotic but I still experience paranoia.
It comes and goes but it’s always present in the background.
For example, I am too paranoid to attend the Wellness Center (Clubhouse) by myself.
All kinds of horrible scenarios pop into my head.
So you think everyone is worrying about something?
Sure.
My sister is going through a divorce, She’s been under a lot of stress. Her husband recently had his lower left leg amputated. He is just learning to accept his disability and is used to living large, which is no longer an option now that he’s on disability pay.
One of my girlfriend’s daughter is having a rough time. She has serious health problems and is dealing with financial problems also. On top of that her ex-husband is living with her and he’s an unrepentant alcoholic. One drink and he’s a completely obnoxious idiot, it’s like he took an instant idiot pill.
I could go on and on.
Everyone has problems to deal with. Not just people with a mental illness.
