Psychosis makes new brain cells. You see, the brain is conformed to a society that doesn’t allow for expansive thinking. When you go psychotic you are actually accessing new parts of the brain. The problem is that you need to then balance the rest of your brain to strengthen it or else it becomes unbalanced. If your psychosis is bipolar related then or another diagnosis than it gets bigger. Any trace or grandiosity grows the brain. If you are purely just paranoid than this is a brain disease.

I’m no scientist, but common sense and 10 years of schizophrenia has taught me psychosis damages the brain and is literally poison. It causes our brain to go crazy and suffer so much.

Thats because you do know how to balance it. What it does is jump start the brain so much that it needs to then become balanced.

It’s a dangerous view to have. If anyone actually believed him, they might think its ok to go off meds and into psychosis beacause it “makes new brain cells”.

i actually read before it makes new path ways in the brain, like a pattern, who can prove it can’t? the brain organ is very much not fully understood
