Pretty cool morning if you ask me

Got to hold a hummingbird for about 2 minutes (saved it from the entrance of our front porch)

The hummingbird looks very pretty and calm and collected.

Glad to see you had that encounter. The benefits of living in the countryside.

I find it really moving when an animal in nature is receptive to me.

I remember trying to get a squirrel to come over to me. He did look up and look at me. That was cool.

Cheers and congratulations! It takes some major good juju.

Did you have to build up trust? That’s what I had to do. Stood outside holding the feeder until I got lucky.

I’d agree, it’s a good morning.

Honestly, it just happened because it got trapped in the entrance of our front porch and I had to save it/get it out. I think it was in shock/tired from struggling to get out

I’m still surprised it sat on my finger so long tho.

That’s pretty cool! The hummingbird is so pretty!

I once was eating a granola bar or something, while on a hike in the mountains. This chipmunk ran up to me, so I bent down and gave it a little bit of the bar, holding it out in my hand. The chipmunk ate right out of my hand! It was so cool. It wanted more, but I figured that it’s best not to give it too much.

It was a nice moment, though. A fun memory. :chipmunk:
