I live in the east end of Canada’s capital. I’m in a nice family-friendly area of town. Just moved here in April…an upgrade from where we were. The neighbors kinda keep to themselves but that’s okay. I’m not the type who likes people always ringing my doorbell and barging in with apple pie.
Nice hat @Minnii , you probably do not need hats in Lisbon that I have, here where I am it can be as cold as -30 c degrees in the winter and fur hats are great then,

Yeah you’re probably right. It gets really cold up there! Here we hit -10c which is probably the lowest we get and we’re saying it’s freezing.
Do you get any snow there in Lisbon @Minnii , when I was there in March in 1998, it was quite warm then, we can get a lot of snow here where I am.
No snow. It snowed once in my time living here, and it was for about five minutes.
We can get a lot of snow, I ride my bicycle also in winter, they maintain bicycle paths also in winters.

That’s really cool. We have all kind of bicycle paths here too. But people in bikes usually use the street anyway lol

couldnt shave because i was moving to a new home… then decided to keep the “beard” out of sloth. very nice pics waterway btw. did you take them in the middle east? i imagined the people to be more dark there lol.

You seem to have great fun there were you are. I suppose you are still in Beirut, would like to visit there some day, but somehow all these events in the area, Syria, Hizbollah, ISIS make to think that it is not so peaceful there, but how is it?, I am waiting for cooler weather here so that I can wear my fur hats.

It’s nice here, i went to the beach, great food. I’m meeting family and friends everyday but you might be shocked when you come here. It’s dirty and messy. I am having fun I guess but it’s costly for me. It’s safe in the city and there are a lot of people everywhere. I went out with my girlfriends so many times alone at night. Im smoking hookah (shisha) with nicotine a lot and the beer is so good. I will post more pics
