Toss-up between Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and CCR

Strange to Note.

I Have a Small Story Almost, With Every Group of Artist’s in The Poll.

|||The Rolling Stones, is Dedicated to The One I Love The Most. |||Pink Floyd, I Grew Up With Each Album as a Continuous Soundtrack to My Years of Growth Through Puberty. |||AC/DC, a Band I Never Gave Much Attention to Until I Got a Bit Older, And Slightly More Spiritual, Kinda Looking at Those Guys as an Open Door to Sarcasm Within Religion. And Warning’s. |||The Beatles, Another Band Introduced in My Youthful Years, in Which I Wanted to Find Ways to Be as Artistic, (Since I Had My Own Acoustic Guitar By Then), And Spiritual as They Seemed. |||Bob Dylan, an Artist I Finally Dived into As I Got a Bit Older, I Found Him to Be Almost Magical in The Ways He Stood on The Brink of Miracles With One Guitar. |||Led Zeppelin, a Band I Couldn’t Personally Get into. Talented Yes. Amazing Yes. A Highly Adored Group Yes. I Picked Up an Album, as a Youth, And Even Tried Playing Some of Their Songs on My Electric Guitar. Realized (For Me, at That Time, Impossible). But Jus Couldn’t Really Get into Them. |||The Eagles. Long, Long, Long Ago. I Would Always Play, ‘Hotel California’ on The Jukebox With My Then, Girlfriend. Always a Nice Time. |||Fleetwood Mac, Have Yet to Check Them Out. |||Aerosmith, I Like The ‘Crazy’ Video, For The Two Chicks in it. I Even Think, The One is Liv Tyler. Beautiful Yep. |||Blue Oyster Cult, Probably Heard Them On The Radio. |||The Kinks, Have One Song About Schizophrenia, So at Least One Person Should Vote For Them Here, Right?. |||Lynyrd Skynyrd, Have Two Song’s I Love to Singalong With. ‘Simple Man’, & ‘Freebird’. Not Bad Guys!. |||Now The Doors, When I Heard, Jim Morrison Sing, ‘Break on Through to The Otherside’!, I Eyes Jumped Out of My Skull. Ended Up Jumping into That Universe a Few Times, And Actually Spoke to Jim Morrison One Night, When I Lived With My Dad. Yep, I Speak to Ghosts. |||CCR?. I Havent Seen The Rain. |||Queen?. Freddie is Well Loved & Adored, For Good Reason. |||Genesis, Has That One Amazing, Haunting Song. And A Little Nervous to Dig Any Deeper. |||Which Leaves ZZ Top. Not a Clue. They Got Long Beards Right?.

Thanx For Reading Thus Long Post Guys.

NOW VOTE!!!.

Those ain’t random, they’re the biggest bands of their time! “Random” to me means groups or artists who were really popular for a short time and not well known today. Almost every band you listed are legends with careers lasting more than a decade

Idk. Elo was at the top for awhile. I bet most of the younger people here have never even heard of them. They had several big hits but I bet even the old timers here couldn’t name more than one.

Foghat was kind of random. I think they got popular when I was in 11th grade around 1977. They had one huge hit with "Slow Ride"and a few other good songs but I remember when they came on the scene that everybody was saying they were the next big thing but they just kind of faded away.

Supertramp maybe? They had the one big album 'Breakfast in America". They were pretty popular for two or three years.

That was a very hard decision!

I Was Playfully Being Sarcastic Dude. I Sometimes Use The Word ‘Random’ to Classify Almost Everything. In All Reality Nothing in Thus Universe is Truly ‘Random’. Maybe I Was ‘Dumb’ For ‘Running’. ‘Random’, He ‘Ran’, That’s ‘Dumb’, Random. Which Actually Has Nothing to Do With Music, or These Musical Choices.

(By) (The) (Way), Yuu NeeD 2 Li$+ 0u+ M0r3 B@nD’$ |_iK3, ‘Supertramp’.

That Band Got Lost a Long Time Ago.

Keeps it Cools!.

Well, that sarcasm went right over my head. How about Montrose and Boston?

Yea I Loved The Song, ‘Amanda’ Since I Was a Teeny Tiny Lad. All On Cassette Tape as Well.

I’ll Check Out, ‘Montrose’, Does That Band Have Anything to Do With, ‘Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind’?. Ya’know, ‘Meet Me at Montauk’?.

Montrose was named after Ronnie Montrose the lead guitarist. A young Sammy Hagar was the lead singer, his first big break. They had about 5 great songs that were some of the best hard rock songs around. This was the mid- to late seventies.

(and no, they had nothing to do with “Eternal…”)

Have You Ever Heard of ‘Ronnie Milsap’?. I Had His ‘Greatest Hits’, When I Was a Tadpole. Those Are Baby Frog’s Right?.

N e Hoo.

It’s Like The Ghost of Ronnie is Telling Me to STAY AWAY From ‘Montrose’!.

Sure, the blind singer. I saw him perform live at our county fair around 1976.

Hmm.

You’re a Government Spy. Working From The Water Like ‘Coldplay’ Said in ‘Parachutes’.

And yes, tadpoles are baby frogs. I’m not sure if Ronnie Milsap is a ghost yet or not.

I thought I was just a poster answering a question. I gave up on spying for the government when I was in third grade.
But which government is classified info.

Ah Yesss!.

My First Government Operational Skeptic Specimen Test.

3 2 1 |||~The Beatles as Your Avatar. ‘When I’m 64’, or, ‘All My Life’. Hmm. I Think, Thee C.I.A. (!!!). ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’. Probs.

How the west was won albums by Led are amazing. Doobie Brothers are good too.

I Was (And Still Am), Outspoken With ‘Going to California’. I Rememeber Sitting on My Little Amp With an Electric Guitar, Learning How to Play The Intro Of That Song.

Felt Like a Genius.

That is Until I Realized I Didn’t Actually Come up With That Tune Myself. lol
