I have no phone…never texted a message in my life. People look at me like I’m really strange because of this.
But I enjoy my minimalist lifestyle. I call these phones “Electronic Leashes”.
If I could afford it, I’d get both. There are cool apps on both platforms that I might want to use.
But, Android is the best budget phone.
2020 iPhone SE is going to be launched with the days or upcoming week.
Its about The pricetag. Cheaper Androids arent so impressive.
I have an android but voted for iphone ! I’ve never owned an iphone either but the original is always better.
I have owned both and I like Android because its more customizable and you don’t need iTunes.
You can put anything into storage in an Android.
Its detected as a USB key storage.
Also there is more free apps on Android and I can get some paid apps for free.
Android phones like Samsung has a better OLED screen with higher resolution. Also Android has better battery life in general, some Android phones have 6000mah battery.
@Aziz totally agree with the hardware aspect side of Android smartphones. iPhones are so proprietary of their hardware and costly in terms of the apps.
Also with Android you can install custom ROMs.
I have an LG G2 that the original software only allows Android 5 max. I installed a custom ROM in it and now I have Android 10 in it. I use my Samsung S9 daily with Android 10.
One thing about Apple is the ecosystem where MacOS, iPad OS and iOS work seemlessly together well including the Apple peripherals. Not to mention there is a set standard of iPhones that run on the A13, A13, A11 etc… Chipset. Android has an ocean of hardware that the O/S must accommodate.
Android…I’ve had Huawei for a couple of years…dropped it over a hundred times…still didn’t crack …thankfully
I love rooting my Android phones and installing custom roms
iphones are easier to use.
Perfect phones for folks over 50
My family is a split 3-2 for android. I love my Samsung Galaxy s8.
I’m not sure there is that much difference nowadays. Just get what you like in your price range, unless you have special requirements. They both do most of the same things.
Best phone ever Ericsson sgh 888
