Thanks @Minnii! Donât you ever sleep? I believe itâs after midnight in Portugal, right?
In my council flat. I am hoping when I move I can get another council flat. My step daughter has talked to my council who have said they will do all they can to help. She is still waiting to hear from her council.
I am hoping if I move I donât have to go private rented as it is not as secure.
What would somebody put for âOtherââŠ
I live in a field?
Everbody lives with their parents. Hopefully I can be independent after a couple of yrs.
some relief that most people live with their parents, however Iâm not sure that everyone on here is 23âŠ
Just to the left of Saturn on a middle-class ring in a cul-de-sac⊠If you hit Jupitor, youâve gone to far.
I lived in various mental health housing (including a locked hospital in 1982) from about 1980 to 1995 except in 1989 when I lived with my dad when I was 28 years old. In 1995 my sisters roommate in her duplex/condo moved out and she invited me to move in and rent a room in her house. I gladly accepted and I ended up living there for three years. I paid my way and pulled my own weight including paying rent on time, paying half the utilities bill, doing my share of keeping the house clean and keeping the yard clean and neat.
I moved out in 1998 and for the next 17 years I lived on my own. I mostly rented rooms in private homes but there was a six-year stint when I lived by myself in a nice studio apartment. A year ago my mom died and a lot of major, bad life problems came at the same time and I ended up in the psyche ward for two days and I lost everything and now Iâm 55 and Iâm living in a boarding house with 35 people. Itâs not too bad, in fact it has some really good things about it. But there are certain things about it that make me miss living on my own. I have a lot of freedom here and the people are friendly and cool, but I have to share a room with another guy which I havenât done since 1995.
Live in a subsidized mental health building.
Its ok. Lonely.
Some days i wonder if a group home would be more suitable.
Jack Johnson playing on the stereo.
Well no wonder you feel lonely! His tunes may have the sound of smooth island melodies, but the lyrics are all about how depressed he is all the time.
Well
Ive learnt to appreciate melancholy a little bit.
Alanis Morrisettes song Jagged little pill came on the radio today. The lyrics are so bang on about life and romance. You live - you learn.
I might queue u2 or the tragically hip next.
In Hell, would you like to join me?
This honestly makes me feel a lot better about living with my mom
I think the question is not âwhereâ are you living right now, but âhowâ are you living. e tu brute ?
The answerâŠ: large and in charge
My fiancĂ© and I live in an apartment together. We donât have super awesome jobs, so weâre just making ends meet. We have furniture and appliances and all, but not much in the way of decorations or anything like that. We eat a lot of leftover takeout and TV dinners lol basically weâre the average young couple whoâs got their very first place together. Lots of Ramen noodles and college homework assignments strewn all over our kitchen table
I live with my husband in a small, cosy double storey house nearby the sea.
