I don’t hear voices when I’m medicated, like now. But I’ve heard them when unmedicated. I’ve heard voices when on 4mg Risperidone. They went away when my pdoc upped the dose to 5mg.

I’ve only heard voices on one occasion when I tried witching meds. It started as one voice, then amped to like a 100. It was hellacious, never again.

My voices are benevolent and nonthreatening. Still, that doesn’t make them real. They’re very much products of the subconscious mind. Maybe I’m just a happier person and the voices reflect it? Or maybe it’s just random and I’m getting lucky. Medicine helps, for sure. On certain meds I get command hallucinations and insults but not on Zyprexa. Wellbutrin caused them to turn angry, and when I got off it they went back to being nice.
They’re easier to shrug off when all they do is narrate your actions or say “I love you.” Still fairly distracting though.

I think I hear voices? They’re def not overpowering like they are when I’m psychotic.

It’s like this for me: when I’m not on meds (or on crappy meds), yes, I hallucinate. If I’m on meds that are doing their job, I don’t hear them except when I’m under a fair amount of stress or duress.
When I’m not on meds, I find most of the voices’ content is talking to each other about me as if I’m not there, or they’ll warn me how everything is dangerous/part of some nefarious plot, etc, which really heightens my paranoia.
When the meds are working and I’m stressed, I’ll mostly hear “aggressive whispering” as I call it, and noises throughout the house (like doors slamming, creaky noises, that kind of thing).

I hear voices occasionally (about once a week or two) but off meds I hear them almost every day.

Whispers, single words, and simple phrases while properly medicated.
Crowd of people picking on me daily when unmedicated.
Still hear the angels sometimes though.

I stopped hearing them when i got medicated i hear some stuff being said to me but rarely i think i heard a laugh mocking me last night after i had a strange nightmare but thats it

My voices only come back when I have experienced pretty much all the other listed positive symptoms, so I think I am lucky in the voices department.
When they come, I am usually very ill. To be honest I struggle to remember the bad times. My memory of being psychotic is patchy at best.
It has been a long time since I snapped out of a disorganised daze in a mental hospital
