I see that some people are very active on this forum, others I’ve only seen post or comment very rarely and then there are probably people who just read. I’m curious about the membership, is it mostly what we see here or are there a lot more people on this forum than what seems to be here.
Do you consider yourself a Lurker or a Poster?

Since being depressed, I’ve also been lurking more.
I lurk, but that’s because I have to read a lot more. It’s harder to participate as a mod because we need to be role models and support agents. Once you become a mod you lose the ability to use the forum for support as much, though we do sometimes ask for help with something small.
It just occurred to me. Lurkers by definition Lurk. Maybe anxiety prevents them from posting (or voting), so this poll may be skewed in favour of posters.

Bear in mind that there are also anonymous lurkers who have not created a user account on the forum.
That’s true, probably lots of anonymous users too.
I personally do a little of both. I try to be active.
According to the “Say Anything” threads view count there are over 1000 unique views on that thread…so I would think there are lots of lurkers out there.
At least I think the count is all unique views, I could be wrong.
I take that back…right now there is only 950 some views. Usually its over a thousand on those threads. Still, 950 is alot.
I lurk and read alot. I try to participate in replying but alot of times dont, and just read. I post topics when I need advice (,dont know if I’m annoying yet. I think I might be…sorry!) And I’m also not a everyday participant, I come and go.
I like to see how people are getting on and what they’re up to, but I don’t really have anything of value to post
