@firemonkey, the man who brings us fresh news every day, has received a 3-day ban. Following this event, he is considering leaving the forum for good. I would personally want him to stay. Maybe your feedback will help him decide one way or the other.

I think it’s an overreaction, particularly as firemonkey attack was veiled and not direct.
I understand why firemonkey feels wronged by the decision to suspend him.
I hope that we are allowed to level criticism and that firemonkey’s was just considered too bitter and stinging,
and if he formulated it more gently he wouldn’t be suspended.
He always provided the news i never read , i wish i could focus.
He reminds me of sky news.
We’re not here to discuss the righteousness of his ban. If go down that path, this thread risks getting closed before more people have a chance to vote.
I don’t agree with many of his posts but I like to read them. Knowledge of any kind is of value as is his contrubution. Now everyone stop leaving please !

Maybe he will think I’m being insincere now, but I’m disappointed that two people voted for the most negative option. Firemonkey is one of us. He’s been here longer than most of us, and he’s contributed a lot over the years.
Wait, wait, wait! Why did they suspend him? I like his news stories.
Pls reconsider, Firemonkey, I would be sad to see you go.

I am too. I almost feel like we should start a new poll, something along the lines of “do you think people, who are happy when others leave the forum, are big meanies?” 
I really hope he stays. He provides a great service to us all with his educational posts. We would be losing a lot as a community if he left.
I hope @firemonkey stays. He is an asset to this forum. He is like family. Yes family has fights from time to time, but that doesn’t mean you cut them out of your life forever. His personality like all our personalities, has quirks that form a pattern somewhat. I’ve had disagreements with him, but we patched things up and went on our merry way. I don’t see why he can’t be welcomed back into the fold once it is time.
And @firemonkey, try not to take this to heart too much. Even I have said things while upset that resulted in mod action against me. It happens to the best of us sometimes. But it’s just an opportunity to grow and learn to do better next time.
well done mods, you have managed to ostracise a really good member of the forum who has supplied these forums with really good news about mental illness related subjects for years, i mean whats the matter? did someone hurt someones feeling (not mentioning names) yes you guessed it i am being sarcastic lol

I am fine with him quitting the forum.
The only problem is he used to post news articles,
but he makes the atmosphere bad here and there is no justification of him staying.
I have absolutely no alternative to this forum, it’s my home and firemonkey
insulted me and looked to create fights between me and @far_cry0,
so I won’t miss him.

He was a valuable member of this forum in more ways than one.
I will greatly miss him.
That could have been handled better.
i thought he said something to pixel not you chess, but you have to remember that everybody is entitled to an opinion and whether you agree or disagree is a different story i mean you can always choose to ignore it if you want
