But also my heart falls for summer. In summer I create best memories ((in my case))

I like spring and summer the most but spring I usually do better I find myself having a lot of mental health issues some summers idk why last summer was ok no major episodes but I get more paranoid episodes in the summer but the summer there’s camping and stuff to do all I gotta do is remember to take my meds

Fall and winter. I like being cold as I can get cozy. Also rain sucks in spring and summer, one of my least favorite things as well as tornadoes, bad air quality, extreme heat, humidity, loud noises outside, mosquitoes, parties, sweating excessively, mood changes

Fall is clearly a winner!
Summer is too hot, winter is too cold. It had to be either spring or fall, voted spring because then it’s starting to get less cold and you appreciate it.

I totally understand wanted to pick the milder seasons of spring and fall, but I don’t understand how most people pick the season where everything is dying over the season where everything is coming back to life.

It’s quail nesting season here. Quail calls sound kInd of cartoonish. in fact, quail look kind of cartoonish with those little pompom things on their heads. They are calling to each other on the wild hillside behind my house. Soon there will be quail chicks running around behind their quail parents.

Yeah, I have two mourning doves getting ready to nest as well. They are constantly in my backyard or sitting up on my roof.
The mourning dove call sounds a bit like they are sobbing. i guess that’s how they got their name?
It’s a toss up whether the ground squirrels or the mourning doves enrage my little dog more.

I like fall the best, hands down. The transition of warm to cool is awesome 
. I also like when winter turns to spring. Not late spring though.
I guess I get sick of the hot and cold and always welcome the transition.

my dog chases squirrels along the fence lol luckily the squirrels have good balance and ive seen them run across the whole top of the fence, theyve never fallen tho, also there are rabbits at my house everyday, one rabbit had a litter of baby rabbits in my backyard. ive been keeping my dog away from that side of the yard until they get big enough to leave the nest and exit my yard. the mother comes back every so often to feed them and reinforce the nest so they stay warm
i assume they were born the day i took the picture as they still had closed eyes and wiggling around in nest

There are five quail in my backyard right now. I’m watching them through my open window. Unfortunately I can’t get a good photo because of the window screen.
I did run an experiment though, in honor of Chordy (@PinCushion ). The five quail are only a couple of yards away from my open window, nonchalantly strolling and pecking on my back lawn.
What better opportunity to see if quail react to fake human fart noises? 
None of the quail reacted. Not at all. Stroll. Peck. Moonbeam’s best fake fart noise. Stroll. Peck. I tried this five different times and it was pretty loud and pretty convincing. I feel like this is new scientific information. Especially since it was repeatable. Perhaps worthy of publication in a scientific journal?

Farting means you are comfortable so they probably figured you weren’t out to get them.
