No, heck no. Sometimes I need to vent. I hate character limits. I always leave a summary for my longer posts. Just because some people can’t read longer posts you shouldn’t punish those that do happen to write longer posts by preventing them from being able to get all their thoughts out. Maybe we could add in an official summary box instead.

I don’t think there should be a limitation, because as some have said, those in distress sometimes need to vent.
But if a mod saw someone repeatedly write long-ass walls of text in response to others, it would be nice if the mods pointed out to them that it’s rude to expect others to read through all that, and maybe ask them to try and say more with less words.
Did that make sense?
