It’s hard for me to concentrate when folks write long responses. I often skip over them.

I am not against large chunks of texts. But they should be followed by a three-line TLDR summarizing the main idea. Not everyone can sustain focus especially on a mental health forum…

I just wrote kind of a long post about my therapist. Sorry to those who can’t read that much. I just had a lot on my mind

I tend to write long posts too. I’m sorry if I offend anybody. You are not obligated to read them.

I’m not offended by long posts. I just pass them by. Ì got called out by someone for not responding to things. Sometimes I don’t feel like I have anything to add than what was said before me. Sometimes I’m just reading and not adding anything for awhile. Sometimes I’m super chatty.

I think sometimes I cathartic to write and write and write. But perhaps paper and pen would be a better medium??? Yet sometimes someone actually reads it and gives me interesting perspective, not usually though.

I do too. I don’t have the patience or the consideration for some really long post. Especially when it’s something really negative. You get a lot of those on The caregivers family members side as well.

Not consideration I meant concentration.

@LilyoftheValley and @SkinnyMe Some people can read long texts so don’t worry about it

The problem is long, continuous walls of text. Be courteous and break them down into smaller paragraphs .
