I watched a few episodes and wondered where the comedy was? It’s a bit like Dad’s Army in the uK is, totally unfunny to me.

I agree with @labratmat

It was a very popular show when I was younger.

To me it just felt like a less funny, zero soul spinoff that wouldn’t end.

Additionally,

I watch much classier shows like “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and know from that,

Kelsey Grammer is indeed a trashcan.

I mean, everyone on that show is, but he really did it with style.

Also pretending not to be a trashcan when you are a trashcan is so much more offensive.

He really made an effort to make it look like he wasn’t scum.

I watch Frasier on a constant loop. I could go on and on about it but I won’t because I’ll sound like an insane person. Kelsey Grammar is the worst, but the show wasn’t just about him. I also watch Cheers which is where his character started.

What do you guys think of the opening song?

I eat tossed salad and scrambled eggs once a year on Frasier birthday. :woman_shrugging:t2:

Besides that, I find Kelsey Grammer to be a very annoying man

I think Frasier is a unique plot idea. The idea that they are a rich upper class snoots that can have everything but end up messing things up everytime due to his selfishness and pompous attitude. There’s not really another sitcom that had this kind of plot.

I’ve seen a few episodes. But I primarily listened to it on occasion, as I recall. Way back when I had a job related to assembling tractor seats, the radio was all we had to keep us entertained. Sometimes I would listen to the radio station that played the NBC broadcast.
Frazier and Dateline NBC were big when you were bored and doing a monotonous job.

I love Frasier. This humour type ressonates and appeals to me. Not that all episodes are equally funny, but a lot of quality there in my opinion

Frasier is one of those “comfort” shows for me— just like Golden Girls, etc.

I can watch it over and over and usually fall asleep to Frasier and other similar shows.
