I voted yes, but one caveat is that I very rarely remember the character’s names.
At my worst times İ never understand movies.i have no problem right now.
I said yes, but sometimes I can’t pay attention to it.
Yes but movies are too long for me.
I struggle with short term memory, so it’s hard to keep track of tv and movies at times.
I can watch a movie, and not only forget I saw it, but am surprised by everything that happens the next time I watch it. It’s as if I never saw it before
we watch Jeopardy every week day, and sometimes more of it on Netflix.
I’m amazed by these contestants.
I might get a lot of them right if it was on a written test,
but for this game show, I’m just not fast enough.
it’s a good challenge though, and Phil usually beats me. ha.
It’s a 50\50 for me depending if I’m in a depression or not. My memory goes down the tubes when depressed.
But maybe that is a blessing bc every movie can be a new movie. My brain is weird sometimes.

I can sit in front of the t.v., seemingly stareing at the screen for an entire 2 hour movie and absolutely have NO idea what it was about.
I can sit through very long movies, but I can sometimes have a hard time of keeping track of a lot of different characters.
So a movie like The Godfather 2 is not my ideal movie to watch.
I struggle with names too when reading books.
Me too! I can hang on to the plot of most movies but I can’t for the life of me remember characters names.
I cant remember names either, just the main character. Its rare that I watch movies or tv shows though and the selection of movies that interest me without triggering me is extremely small, like less than 5%.
I cant watch TV at all. I cant watch romantic or very social movies as they make me depressed. Horror and movies with actors who have medical symptoms all extremely trigger me. I cant watch Dr House anymore and it was one of my favorites.
I can watch a serie and movies but I have to take a pause sometimes in movies no problem with remembering names n stuff
If I am really enjoying a movie, I can remember it as the movie goes on. I will forget a lot about it a few hours later even if I loved it though. TV shows are basically impossible. For me to watch… I never remember what happened in the previous episodes. I get lost easily. Even if watching on Netflix, having to see the end credits or skipping them and then the intro, it makes me forget. I need it to be constant. That’s why movies are easier for me.
I have trouble paying attention to a full movie. I was watching 45 minute episodes of Vikings and even that was a stretch for my attention span. I said no to the poll but I think yes. I do have memory issues with reading though. I’ve read entire books of 1000 pages that I simply forgot everything in it. I reread nearly everything when I was in the hospital and now I’m reading Gandhi biography that my mother got me years ago. Almost done with it. I enjoy reading but I feel like if there was a test at the end I would fail it even though I really enjoy the reading. Oh well. I don’t watch much tv I watched all of the Man in the High Castle and most of Vikings since I’ve been home from the hospital. Also watched most of a Great Courses lecture series on daily life in the ancient world. Again I feel like I’d not do well on a quiz about it but it was mildly enjoyable. There is one in depth one on Greek civilization that I want to watch now. It looks really good.
I can’t read books or watch movies so I told my bosses of the hospital where I work
When I need to read for a class or watch a movie for a class I usually have no problem. I have no problems reading and understanding textbooks or reading a book for a class. And I can watch a movie required for a class and usually understand it and comprehend it. But I run into trouble if I’m just reading on my own and reading for pleasure. I use to be a voracious reader right up until around the time I first got sick. I pretty much lost the motivation to read for fun.
I have problems with movies and often watch them over a couple of sessions. I do ok with tv or sports…just find it hard. I think it’s a lot to do with my lifestyle. My father watches tv all day so I often don’t have the opportunity to sit and watch a 2 hour movie…
Saying that. It’s hard. I do well with video games…watching sports or certain tv shows but a lot is a struggle. I try to read at least a chapter a day. Been doing that a while now and it’s good. It’s nice to read again.
