It took me almost 3 years to find this place. I have been here for 36 years come 13 May.

I live in Omaha, NE and love it here. Rent, housing and cost of living are cheap and quality of life is high. If you can put up with the cold and snow in the winter and the heat in the summer you got it made.

Right now, Iā€™m living with my mom in a Texas suburb, but Iā€™m a city guy at heart. I want to live in Manhattan at some point.

I like living in the country.
Not too many people around.
I couldnā€™t make it in the city.
Too much stimulus for me in popualed areas.

Overall I like it here because I live on Oahu in Hawaii and can go hiking often. There are restaurants and support groups and lots of mental health programs and I donā€™t feel like I need anything. The downside is that we live in a small town in the middle of the island and have to commute every day to get to most of the things I go to like support groups. I go out just about every day and waste 2 hours at least on the road. My parents are moving back to the city in the next few years though.

Nice apartment but if things continue the way they are I canā€™t see living here much longer. I have pissed off virtually every neighbor and sometimes they started it and sometimes I started it. Hell, Iā€™m not going to take the blame for their actions. I was semi-responsible for a little bit of it but now I am bothered from virtually every angle no matter what room Iā€™m in and thereā€™s nowhere to hide or get privacy. In a few minutes Iā€™m going upstairs and next door again to tell them to knock it off. I want some peace in my old age and I didnā€™t sign up for neighbors taking their craziness and frustration out on me relentlessly now that I suddenly got unaware and out of sync. I havenā€™t given up yet, I still have some fight left in me.

Yeah. Small house with dad and myself. I like my life. I can live as large as Iā€™m able and enjoy myself. I donā€™t work but have plenty to keep me interested. I can save money when I need too and have a little disposable income with which to play.

Itā€™ll change when dad goes but until then Iā€™m happy!

I am really happy with my house. I have had a lot of money lately too so I have just been spending it all on decorating. It does not look much from the outside but inside it I have done it up quite well. Plus the fact that I am a home owner now is just a bonus.
