Both I think.

It depends on the person and what relationship we have.

I usually like to give gifts if I can and I don’t expect anything in return just their friend ship.

Can’t answer. It’s way more complex than that. Around people I like it doesn’t matter. I make them happy and they make me happy. I don’t care who one Up’s who. But I feel happy making my best friends happy.

Historically I’m a giver. Something in me shifted in my 40’s, especially in regards to men, and I learned how to take. I took shamelessly at times. Now I’ve learned to give and take and I like it. But my natural instinct is still to be a giver so I answered giver.

I have wanted to say this. I sometimes feel like I write my thoughts but I don’t really pay attention to other people’s thoughts. Now I am going to try to think of others more.
The people here are important to me and I keep coming back for more than 2 years.

As I get older and more mature I expect people to recieve from me and give back. No more one sided relationships.
