I wrote this short poem today

It’s beginning.
I always knew some day God would call me.
But I never thought it would be today.
Today marks the beginning of something new.
Something good.
I’m not sure if I’m ready or even worthy.
But one thing is sure;
A new phase begins.
A new phase.
Today.

I told myself when I was young. Then when God talks to me, I will seek mental health help. And then that day came. So I did. And now I don’t have that voice pestering me. I’ve often wondered about Joan. Of. Arc.

Me too. I still get messages from God, but I report them to my pdoc.

lol thanks … its not really a poem to be honest or a statement on my life. i wrote it for an intro for a song. its a story…coming soon.

@LilyoftheValley I know i should wait until its done to post it but im really excited about this song :stuck_out_tongue: i just wanna share it now so here it is :slight_smile: … you can hear the “poem” at the beginning… really just a piece of creative writing

Excellent!!! I especially like the voice in it and would like to hear more of that periodically throughout the song. Thats just me though. Good job!

Yup! There’s a second half to the conclusion. I already wrote it. The end is not fixed yet. It will loop back around at some point to the arp that was at the beginning and at that point ill add in the second half of the speech.
