Please answer I'm desperate

Have you had scary symptoms from the meds?I’m on clozapine and haliperdidol. I constantly feel like I’m on a boat and dizziness. Also I feel nauseated and like I’m gonna pass out anytime. I have chest pain also. I’ve been to ed twice in the last two weeks and they couldn’t find anything wrong. They said it’s the meds. So have you experienced anything like this on the meds? If you did what did u do?

I’m on haldol. 125 mg of a shot. I don’t have any side effects from it. You need to talk to your pdoc about it.

You’re on a couple of very powerful med’s. I absolutely hate Haldol. Talk politely to your pdoc and tell them your drugs are making you miserable. You might think about trying Geodon. It’s worked well for me, with the few side effects.

Pdoc knows. They wanna keep me on those ones cause it’s the only ones that help  so I don’t know what to do. They put my clozapine down 50mg but put half to 2mg

Sorry you’re dealing with this @Windy my meds mess with me too.

They just changed me a couple months ago to invega injections once a month from risperdal consta every two weeks. I also take risperidone pills daily because the invega doesn’t cut it.

I cannot stand up slow enough to not almost pass out. I went into convulsions about a week ago at my moms house because I stood up too fast and it was like I was watching it from outside of me, the only sensation I had was the severe tingling in my tongue, which was just a floating entity in its own right…

Also, I’m constantly feeling a sensation of being pulled down and into myself like a black hole is at my core, but in a different plane of existence. The overwhelming tiredness drains me so much. I fall asleep if I stay still for
Any real length of time past a minute or two.

I say that but I also have insomnia most nights, but its during daytime I tend to just fall asleep readily, when I don’t want/need to.

I have other stuff but can’t be sure its the meds necessarily so I won’t say about them…

I hope you can figure something out. It sucks that what’s supposedly the only things to help us make us worse in other ways. I’m sending it to the universe that we all find what we need to help us in our own ways.

Have a good night or day…

Yeah, the chest pains are usually your muscles cramping because of the meds. Ask your pdoc for some anti-parksonism meds to combat these side-effects. They suck, but they’re manageable. Old skool head meds like Haldol are rough when it comes to beating you up with side-effects.

@Windy…you should contact your mental health team ASAP

I had to switch APs each time I got bad side effects, eventually I landed on Zyprexa which doesn’t give me any at 7.5mg.

I’m in a long term rehabilitation ward atm so they know

Tell your doctor what your experiencing they went to school for a long time. They will be best suited to helping you.

Yeah I’ve had really freaky med experiences before. I generally did not stay on any meds that gave me really intense bad side effects for very long.
