Pizza - A poll

One of the reason why I moved here was so I couldn’t order pizza every night.

Thick crust, loaded with all kinds of veggies. Especially mushrooms.

My co-worker gave me some “free” gifts. A bible, two CD’s and another book-and a $30 gift card to Round Table pizza. Now on the surface he was being nice. He brings in snacks sometimes and invited each crew member to dinner when he first got hired. It’s his way of trying to be nice and socialize-and I get that. I should mention he has a mental illness too. He talks to himself and rarely says a word to anyone else.

But I take my breaks alone and he sits with the other crew members and they’ve been acting like as*holes for the past month. Trying to wreck my confidence and bug me. And I suspect the gifts were out of condescension and I suspect he believes he finally found someone crazier and less social than himself (me). And it’s kind of a power play. My suspicions were backed up when my boss made a point of telling me I didn’t have to take the gifts. Hell, I took them anyways. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt as long as he understands he’s not superior to me.

Whoa @77nick77 I thought this story was going to take a different turn, like after giving you the Bible, he tried to recruit you to whatever religion he was.

I understand your feelings though as I need time alone and that has, in turn triggered this alienation from groups of others. I hope you are just being a little paranoid and they aren’t messing with you! It seems like a nice gift to me, especially the pizza! :pizza: lol Have a restful night!

Thin crust. The way Italians make it, and the way it’s supposed to be made. In a stone oven and with no freaking pineapples.

We don’t have “classic” or “normal” crust here. We call that thick crust.
