Pics of wood floor prior to sanding and poly coat - Will update when finished in (hopefully) 2 days

Here are the wood floors we are going to strip and coat with poly before :

We have a living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms and a hallway to do.

Cross your fingers that we can get them done in 2 days.

Got floors stripped and got first coat on. Did not take a picture of first coat yet, will take pics when finished, but here is a pic of living room dining room stripped before coats were applied.

Lol. WE have furniture coming soon so we needed to get them done fast. Also, I have to move my pc down there Thursday because of internet hookup Friday, so it really is much better to have all the floors done before moving furniture of any kind in.

So, that was the reason for the rush.

Thanks @HollyHobbie . I am eager to see it after 3 coats myself. The two bedrooms and hallway were different wood and are much darker after stripping and resealing on first coat. Living room and Dining room stayed fairly light, though( Looks like Pine ) and I think are the highlight of the job. Will post tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

I just thought of something. Stripping isnt the right word for what we did to floors. Stripping is when you just remove the coat of stuff. We SANDED the floors. Which is a much more deep way of redoing the floors.

2 coats on floors. Still have one coat to go on living room/dining room tonight. Not enough poly for bedrooms too.
