Our charity is now officially struggling, we had some bad news about funding recently and so we are looking at our options, i really hope its not as bad as i think it will be,
Lots of other charities will be struggling and its not just the UK I wonder if the same is true for other countries, we already lost a lot of mental health charities specifically in the UK over the last 10 years or so.
I hope it doesn’t shut down. You fill a true need.
Thanks, i’m really bummed out about it bc mental health charities have had to endure so much over the last 10 yrs already 5 Sister Clubhouses had to shut in the past and we adopted some of their members, it was devastating, and we are now the last mental health clubhouse in Scotland.
Now every one is affected and these places that support very vulnerable individuals with real needs, I am on the board of Directors and we are going to have to make some difficult decisions,
I really feel for those charities who are really struggling, praying for a good outcome but it looks bleak.
