A few days ago people looked too real. Has anybody had this before? Can this be psychosis?
It happens to me sometimes. I spend most of my time sort of running on autopilot, and when I briefly come out of that state everything seems way too real. It used to freak me out, especially when it would happen at work, but I’m pretty much used to it now.
It scared me a couple days ago
Were they real people to begin with?
Or some of them, er, um, …not so real folks?
Aw heck, it don’t matter none if they were real or not,
As long as they don’t ask you for money.
Yeah, it can be a bit freaky, especially if you’re not used to it.
I wonder if it’s part of psychosis
It could be, I don’t know. I’m pretty stable as far as my schizo symptoms go, but I still experience it.
Yeah I should ask I’ll call my office on monday
You can tag it psychosis if you need, but why the heavy label?
Because I’m starting to get paranoid again. So that’s why I thought it could be psychosis
What were they doing, besides bothering you?
Did you feel threatened by them?
I felt that I shouldn’t trust them. Peoples foreheads also seemed bigger than normal
A big forehead means bigger brains…maybe.
Who says they should be trusted?
Why trust them unless they’ve done something to deserve it?
You don’t,
You make them earn it.
I’m not sure what you mean by too real? When I had psychosis people were just seem to be acting strange to me
It was like I was hyperalert or aware of my surrounding things felt so detailed it felt strange.
Is it derealization? I had that. I thought it meant the world was fake. Everything looked surreal.
Everything person seemed so detailed but the world around me felt the same. It was really weird.
When I saw their foreheads they looked weird almost like a neanderthal or alien
I get the opposite thing, sometimes they look fake. It freaks me out. Don’t know if it’s psychosis or not. But I do know that the feeling that every little thing could be a warning sign of psychosis coming on is terrible. I hate that.
I have been on the invega shot since August so maybe it is adjusting in my system I hear it can take 6 weeks
