Can’t disappoint mother.
That’s not true. My mother was dying for a girl… I still have ■■■■■ envy. I keep telling my husband that I want a floppy belt he’s not going for it.
I stand corrected. Too often girls are viewed like not whole because something is missing. Were you affected by the view of an ignorant boy?
No, not unless I surpressed it. I was always very confident about my gender, but, something just makes me want it. Isstill desire to be female… I don’t know, it’s complicated.
more like coke addled godfather of shrinks who thought EVERYTHING was the mothers fault and of course EVERYTHING was about sex.
Well, come to think of it, my mother’s wanting a boy was a kind of beat up desire.
There’s a reverse, womb envy. My professor had a sense of humor about ■■■■■ envy and womb envy and basically taught it while laughing about it. Some people in the class were offended and he said that we had to learn it and just try not to get offended.
Well, if momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy. That much is true.

My mother was happy with me being a girl, and I still wound up lamenting from time to time that I was not born a man. I guess I shall just have to accept that I was made a woman! sigh…
My mother wishes I was a boy
My mother wanted a doll. They didn’t have anatomically correct ones back then.
