@everhopeful A great link . My organising and planning ability is poor . How much is due to the Asperger’s or to the schizophrenia spectrum disorder (both can negatively affect executive functioning) I can’t tell .

My planning is abysmal. So much so I actually fear it. I’m actually afraid of planning. This may partly explain why I guess.

I would not be surprised if this is a problem for a good number of us . I hope this leads to better help for it .

An old but interesting piece of research

This means that within a population of adolescents with schizophrenia, deficits in executive functions, such as self-regulation and planning, are associated with lower levels of adaptive communication skills (e.g., use of gestures, sharing, and collaboration), which, in turn, explains the lower involvement in social activities.

A little depressing, as it would seem that there is no way to get those synapses back.

I’m terrible at planning things. So, I tend to fall back on certain habits instead of making plans.
