I put $100 into her bank account so she can go shopping. That should get her something comfortable. Oofoos? I’ll tell her about them.

I think buying her the shoes was a good idea. It’s a nice thing to do. And there’s other ways to build character. And better ways. Sure, you went to work hungry, but isn’t the idea behind raising children to give them a better life than we had? If you have the power to make her life at work more comfortable and bearable, then it would have been cruel not to use that power to help her in this situation.

Yeah. I sent her $100 thru zelle. It looks like for really good shoes I’ll need to send at least $30-$50 more. We’ll see.
