Shrove Tuesday/pancake day is traditional in uk for feasting before Ash Wednesday when fasting began before Easter.
Its just a tradition im not really talking religion

man, everyone is eating pancakes…we buy Krusteez mix…so good.
I haven’t used mix since I was a preteen. I pissed off my wife the first week we lived together when I tossed her pancake mix and the Bisquick. Nasty ■■■■.

Ha! I was just saying before that my kids know i don’t need mixes. They won’t let me fet away with a no mix excuse. Little devils.

Both, I usually make them from scratch though. I like corn meal pancakes!
Dont people in europe use nutella jam and powdered sugar?
I just use regular table syrup and unfortunately box mix 
oh man I want some pancakes…dangit dangit dangit.
Was gonna buy pancakes today at mekkies but then I didn’t.

I love the hungry jack pancake mix
I like pancakes I just usually don’t eat breakfast so I never really have any.
But on the rare occasion I do find myself hungry in the mornings hot cakes and sausage from McDs is on the list.
I have jiffy muffin mix and cornbread mix. The muffin mix makes good pancakes. And I usually have bisquick because I make chicken and dumplings sometimes.
I don’t know how to make them from scratch.

You don’t have flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, eggs, etc.?

I am not going to make pancakes from scratch…I’m lucky if I have the energy to pour the pancake mix into the bowl…haha
