Pacifism. View to life

Pacifist here! I believe world should be in peace. And world should be way more equal. People should not fear to be themselves. And feel equal to each other. :sun_with_face: (No matter their life circumstances)

Idk. Maybe it’s due to my empathetic nature - if I could change some things in globe, I would make people’s lives easier, less cruel and some things would disappear. Like, the most cruel ones - abuse, wars, human trafficking, propaganda, also… If I could make hard drugs disappear!

Though I am not a God. I cannot but… I like to think ā€˜what if?’ what if everything would be waaaay better.

More pacifists here?!

If the planet didn’t have human beings then this planet would thrive.

The problems and wars and human trafficking, pollution all these are created by us.. no one person can solve it.

We don’t need god here. We just need some humanity. And all of us are equally culpable.

Everybody is responsible for the society to be how it is.

I agree.

Humans are the main problem and the only ones which can solve everything.

Sadly, every human being is different - some are total psychos which have zero sensitivity to what is happening,
That’s why world is cruel sometimes.

The world is how we see it.

It’s in our perception… We need to sharpen our perception and meditation is a tool just for that.

Like a mobile phone is an objective tool, meditation is a subjective tool. Do some research on meditation and see where it leads you to.

Without humans there’d be no one to appreciate it.

This is a disease we have… We think universe revolves around us..

Science proved beyond doubt as to how vast the universe is. If our entire solar system vanishes tomorrow it’s be a speck of dust in a desert. That’s how big the universe is.

We are not needed anywhere.. we are just part of evolution like all other creatures.

We need to stop feeling special about ourself.

When God is able and does prevent evil, where is evil come from ? Why call it God ? Evil is violence, abuse, destruction and aggression.

Where I called God evil?

I said the opposite, my friend.

I don’t believe in violence. I would let someone beat me up before I fight back. But if someone hurt my mom and I would fight them. I guess that says something about my values. I’m not scared to die, but I don’t wanna suffer unnecessarily. Money is the reason for all the world’s troubles. Money brings power. The truth is we all have an unhealthy relationship with power. We all want more of it on an individual level. Imagine what it’s like when the powerful all come together for a common purpose. The problem is desire leads to more desire, Schopenhauer. We’re all being manipulated so a few have power, this creates mental scarcity. We all live in mental prisons so those with the most freedom get worshipped like heroes. The money’s not enough for their egos. Doesn’t mean you can’t choose to be happy and stick up a middle finger to the universe in revolt.

I don’t think i’m far enough leaning towards pacifism, but I do believe that justice is real. Karma is a very real concept to me

I like the idea of pacifism

Not that the world should be in peace necessarily but that the idea of world peace is nice.

My question is if that is possible then how.

I think that the world would be a better place if everyone could channel Bill and Ted and ā€œbe excellent to each other.ā€ Unfortunately, there is evil and a need to push back against it. I taught my daughter that she should not start a fight and to walk away when she can, but that it’s also okay to finish a fight if she needs to, to protect herself or others.

I am a also all about no harm. I wish everyone was too…

Sad thing is mother nature has a very effective solution to conflict…when all else fails we hurt each other.
