I’m headed out to go get a tooth taken out. I know it is sophisticated self-care, but I still don’t want to go.

I think the thing is no one ‘wants’ to get their tooth taken out, it is just something you have to do. I had to get two teeth taken out my self when I got braces. Good luck on it though. I think it is one of those things you have to just get over and done with.

Yeah, that’s no fun. I hope it’s not too painful.

No problem! I don’t remember the discharge instructions too well however.

@FatMama
Why did so many teeth need pulled?

They were all broken. I’m saving money to have them all removed and get dentures. I have 2 more broken teeth.

Oh no! It sounds painful!

@Jayster I lost my discharge instructions when I had one out too, so I googled it. I remember using a lot of gauze and, salt water, ibuprofen and I didn’t eat because it felt like the infection literally surfaced. The top of the wound didn’t heal until like 2 months

These two aren’t too bad. But I know if I don’t pull them soon likely they’ll get worse

The funniest thing is that I couldn’t get my computer to work for the first two hours of today.

I’m going remarkably well!

When I was filling out the paperwork for this extraction, I came across the “Yes/No” question, “Are you in good health?”

I checked I was in good health!

Yes, this was a broken tooth. I have been breaking my teeth of late.

They don’t need to know about mental health although usually you have to put meds down and that clues them in anyway

Some meds are extremely damaging to teeth.
