Australia…into 5th world wise with 6 gold, 1 silver and 8 bronze for 15 total. Not bad for a small country population wise downunder!

Last night I watched The Women’s Gymastics Team Final. It was stunning and hilarious. Some athletes from Italy and France showed for their passion for both dancing and sporting. And again, Russian team won the gold medal. The US team was second.

Australia up to 9 gold medals! We are like running 5th in the world ( based on gold more than other medals ) which is pretty darned good. Mind you we traditionally do well in the pool and not so good in athletics so we may be peaking early!
