Oh my god people

Oh MY GOD, I am still being classified as a new user after ALL THIS TIME.

Listen to YT watch?v=cFH5JgyZK1I

Despite the resistance via the moderators, I am still listening to this music with my 1978 home made speakers.

Funny how I find myself in love with you
If I could buy my reasoning, I’d pay to lose
One half won’t do

I’ve asked myself, how much do you
Commit yourself?
It’s my life, don’t you forget
It’s my life, it never ends (it never ends)

Funny how I blind myself, I never knew
If I was sometimes played upon, afraid to lose

I’d tell myself, what good you do
Convince myself
It’s my life, don’t you forget
It’s my life, it never ends (it never ends)

I’ve asked myself, how much do you
Commit yourself?
It’s my life, don’t you forget
Caught in the crowd, it never ends
It’s my life, don’t you forget
Caught in the crowd, it never ends
It’s my life, don’t you forget
Caught in the crowd, it never ends

Eyes without a face. I see you but you see no face at all.

Say your prayers.

Thanks G. The big boss knows that you have a big heart.

You will also notice that I have been having some trouble with Windows 10 if you watch this YT video.

I think whether or not you are classified as a new user depends on your activity, not the amount of time you have been here.

Thanks folks for responding. Despite my speakers being 43 years old, they still bring the singers right into my living room. The big boom base is fantastic. Everyone who has heard them has ask me to build a pair for them, but I am a bit too old these days to do that.

Have you had to re-foam the woofers yet? I re-foamed the woofers on a pair of Mission bookshelf speakers last year. They’re about a quarter century old and have a nice, rich sound.

Sorry for the delay in response, but yes, I did have to replace the outer foam rings. Both had begun to turn to dust.

It just cost me about $27 CAD for a kit that included two foam rings and glue. It took about 1 hour and a half to repair each woofer.

Once repaired, they each were as good as new.

I remember the beautiful, rich sound of late 70’s woofers. Man, those were the days of beautiful music.
