Oasis are doing some shows in the UK

Really want to go but I tried a concert a couple of months back and had really bad anxiety bordering on a full blown panic attack

It won’t be till next year

I get anxiety from concerts too everytime I go out so I know what you mean. Most recently my anxiety was quite minimal though.

Maybe keep going to live shows and the anxiety might get lower each time?

Oasis is gonna be a mental one

I only go to concerts of quiet music: Andrea Bocelli, Snatam Kaur, Hans Zimmer,…

Else it stresses me too much.

I also want to sit down during a concert.

I’m old

I didn’t know there was a band called Oasis until a while ago. I bought a tshirt that has the Oasis band logo on it. Thought it was just a cool sounding word to have on a shirt. Then my gf tells me its a massive band from back in the day. I listened to wonderwall and was instantly transported back to my childhood from the early 2000’s/late 90’s. That kinda stuff was the s**t back then as a kid. Iconic whiny high pitched emo punk kinda voice. A lot of the metalcore/screamo i love these days has singing like that mixed in between the screaming vocals. Love that combo in music.

According to Wikipedia…

‘Cage intended 4’33" to be experimental—to test the audience’s attitude to silence and prove that any auditory experience may constitute music, seeing that absolute silence cannot exist.
Although 4’33" is labelled as four minutes and thirty-three seconds of silence, Cage maintains that the ambient noises heard during the performance contribute to the composition.
Since this counters the conventional involvement of harmony and melody in music, many musicologists consider 4’33"* to be the birth of noise music, and some have likened it to Dadaist art.
4’33"* also embodies the idea of musical indeterminacy as the silence is subject to the individual’s interpretation; thereby, one is encouraged to explore their surroundings and themselves…’

I’ve never watched it all.
But I have tried to find silence many times… [but alas it’s not possible]
Now that would be an oasis.

I used to think the songs were about me too. It used to happen to me pretty much all the time when i was ill no matter what the song was.

I like Noel Gallagher. i think he can write a good song but Liam is a thug who walks like a monkey and is not a very good singer either. He must have something though as he was married to Patsy Kensit.

I’m a fan but i will not be able to see them, I like Noel better & i think he has better solo material than Liam, I also agree that Liam is a bit annoying and probably caused all this ■■■■ in the first place but its led to some really good solo material, i have their vinyl albums.
