Not having anything to do

In my case it is not about lack of motivation or enjoyment, but a lack of energy. I am interested in many things but often I felt horribly tired.

I used to be a very emotional and sensitive person. Iā€™m a professional musician, worked at numerous hotels playing piano and was a sponsored skateboarder owning my own skateshop at some point. Also filmed and produced short films at an advanced level. And finally was one of the prominent religious leaders where I resided. Had a very vivid personality along with high emotional intelligence.

Now comes invega sustenna and my interests are pretty much gone, along with losing knowledge Iā€™ve always known by heart. Iā€™m boring most of the time, dumb, have nothing to say and more emotionless than a chair.

Even after being off Invega for 4 months, I feel that it will have permanent effects on my personality and normal body physiology.

Yeah @Rebelhassan, invega sustenna is really trickyā€¦ it works really well for some people, but for a lot of people it ruins their lives and leaves them a shell of their former selves.
One thing I would like to say though, is that because invega sustenna has a half life of 25 to 50 days, meaning it takes that amount of days to reduce its concentration in your system by half, it could technically take 6-8 months to be completely out of your body. Some of our members even say it took them up to a year for side effects to wear off. So youā€™re about at the halfway point of that timeframe.

I donā€™t know if youā€™ve seen it already, but we had a thread dedicated to people coming off of invega sustenna. Itā€™s actually closed now, because of too many replies. But all the info is still there. Perhaps it will help you. Here is the link:

Thanks so much for the share, actually this thread was the reason I joined

Iā€™m well aware of that timeframe but itā€™s just too hard to swallow that months pass by only being a dumbed down version of yourself and feeling very little pleasure in things if any.

I started a version 2 of the thread to read othersā€™ experiences with the drug and give hope to those still dealing with the effects.

I hope you recover the ability to feel pleasure and enjoy life again!
