Is there a clear and precise definition of ‘inner speech’? I’ve never been able to find one that isn’t ambiguous.

Yeah I don’t hear voices on meds but I do hallucinate pretty bad off meds

Maybe they should rename it then. The first though that comes up with me schizophrenia is voices lol

Really wish the article didn’t open by calling our hallucinations “imaginary.” I know what they meant but it still feels like a wrong word choice.

I hear voices sometimes. Usually, but not always, when I haven’t had enough sleep, and usually in the forms of either mumbling, music, textual messages or sounds.
