I just noticed that when I lowered clozapine I had insomnia for a couple of months.

How much are you on now?
I’m down to 125mg now

Probably gonna go lower, and hopefully I can get off it

Pdoc is thinking to introduce Vraylar

The most I’ve been on is 400 mg.

Now I take 25 mg (next to 12 mg Invega)

Nice few years back I was as high as 450mg

My I ask why you still take 25mg?
That’s like the tiniest dose…
Clozaril unfortunately gave me tachycardia, but at least it stopped the positives for 10+ years now

It’s for sleep. Like some people take low dose seroquel.

I wake every 1 to 2 hours at night and when I take clozapine I fall back easier to sleep at night.

And when I was on higher doses of clozapine I also had tachycardia. That’s one of the main reasons it was decided to lower it.

Did you try something else for sleeping, except clozapine?
I have the same insomnia if I try to get it off.
I kinda feel clozapine working on my frontal lobe. After I take it everything is light, no stress, but I also postpone any goal I had for the day…that is one main reason why I would take it off… and constipation.
Does the small dosage make you hungry @Jonathan2 ?

I have tried seroquel for sleep but it did nothing for me.

I’m very sensitive to clozapine as a sleeping aid.

I think the Invega is boosting my appetite more than the clozapine. But it’s not the same as before APs.
