No shoes outside

Hello everyone
I recently went to A supermarket with no shoes on and got asked to leave. I don’t see any rules about wearing shoes?
I had walked 2 miles barefoot to be told to leave and come back when I had shoes on?

Is this fair?

It’s fair but hypocritical as well.

I’ve seen peeps all up in that with the flu and worse man, never seen the lack of shoes kill anyone right?!

Aren’t you tired of all of this pavement getting in the way of your bare feet?

If a man is walking around with no shoes on, then I think a shop’s refusal of service is the least of that man’s worries, no?

then again; how can a man get shoes, if he can’t go to the store to buy them? :confounded:

I understand your frustration, but a private company can make its own rules (with exceptions). A rule of no shoes/no shirt/no service is legal.

Even if you wear flip-flops you should be okay.

I used to love going barefoot, hard on your feet though, that rule is very common though

I think it’s okay for kids, right?

I’m not sure.

It’s generally to prevent liability for you stepping on something and injuring yourself. It’s a common rule, so don’t be surprised by it.

that is completely unfair

Lol exactly. Ive been told to leave a shop for no shoes before and thought the same thing.

Funny thought 1.0: You have no shoes, you walk into a shoe store to buy shoes, they tell you to leave because you have no shoes on.
