I had a scary dream, and woke up with my heart literally POUNDING. I could use some kind words, or a distraction from my nightmare.
Sorry you had a nightmare. The ones that wake you up in the middle of the night are especially pernicious. Try to occupy your brain for 30 minutes and the immediate terror should fade, possibly to the point where you don’t even remember what it was about. I’m up for a while so if you’d like to chat, we can do that.
How is your day going so far?
Pretty well. Woke up early so I’m condemned to midnight Net surfing. Looking forward to an easy day. And you? How’s your day look (aside from being scared from your nightmare)?
Gotta homeschool the kid, we have fun with it. We do lots of experiments at home.
That’s awesome. I wish I had a kid to do stuff with. Just wasn’t in Mother Nature’s cards. What kind of experiments? I know you like to bake. Do you do a lot of kitchen stuff with him?
Yeah yesterday we baked bread, and then discussed why the dough rises, and how yeast metabolize sugar.
The Science of Cooking by the Star household. If you don’t mind, can you deconstruct the formula for Coca-Cola? I want to make my own and save money.
Lol that might be a bit advanced for 8th grade.
Condolences?
My dreams are always random and pleasant. Never that scary. Bad stuff happens but I always feel in control.
I hope I don’t jinx it by saying that.
I have no idea why I feel this way. Maybe I’m super-sheltered.
I had nightmares after I graduated from the security of college. They made me feel very dependent and I was alone at the time. Very frustrating. We are luckier now. We have each other.
