i need nachr agonist like nicotine to enhance my cognition.its available in my country as mouth spray.i need to know does it worth to try it? is it addictive? any other drugs have the same effect available that i could try it?
I dunno what to say except smoking hasn’t improved my cognition. But cigs contain a host of toxic substances and they also put a strain on the lungs.
From what I’ve read the best natural cognitive enhancer is aerobic exercise.
We have a nasal spray here in Canada.
I used it a few times but I prefer the patch tbh.
i dont smoke. i will try nicotine spray in a medical form which is considered to be safe
It’s highly addictive. Don’t start using it.
Please throw it in the rubbish bin.
Is it true that all forms of nicotine are harmful? Addiction aside. Like I was doing the pouches at one point but heard it causes mouth cancer. I feel they restrict blood vessels lowering blood flow or something regardless of what form you take it in.
If you’re hooked maybe the spray is the lesser of evils but nicotine is no bueno to be starting up if u ask me.
I’ve no idea if all forms are bad.
Yeah I’m not sure. A Google search seems misleading
I suppose patch, gum and lozenges are the safest methods though.
Never heard of spray before this thread
To be honest, when I used to smoke, I could concentrate when I would smoke a cigg. Like it could provide the impetus or the push for me. But, I don’t regret quitting, as I was smoking 3 packs a day.
When I was studying for Actuarial Exams, here was my routine:
15 minutes in the library, then outside the library to smoke in order to start concentrating. Repeat and repeat. The only way I could focus at that time was if I kept on smoking like a chimney. And, also, a lot of caffeine, like 8-10 cups a day. Well, in hindsight, I was really sick I guess but didn’t know as at that time I had no voices, just delusions upon delusions.
i tried it for few days and i didnt find any benefit from it.i even notice a little decline in my verbal fluency so i stopped it and wont take it anymore.
I smoke roll up cigarettes occasionally and also a vape. I find it’s good for my cognition, but yeh harsh on my lungs.
Maybe I’ll die of lung cancer
I started smoking today again. Apparently it has pain killer effects. I don’t intend on doing it long-term just for a few days
