New pieces I am playing

on my digital piano: “Italian Song”, by Tchaikovsky, which I have a YouTube video recording of on my smartphone. Also, “Polovstian Dance”, by Borodin, and “Laredo”, which I also have a YouTube video recording of on my smartphone. I am now recording master pianists playing my pieces so that I will know what these classical scores are supposed to sound like when played. Because I am totally unfamiliar with classical music and up to now, I have been playing blind (deaf). (I’ve been a rocker all my life.)

I should have started this way sooner and if I had had better teachers, they would have encouraged this. But, no!!! Oh well. Better late than never.

I would love to hear you play.

I wouldn’t if I were you.

Are you by chance a perfectionist?

No, I’m a realist. 151515151515

Still, I really admire all the hard work you put into it and would like to hear you play

Thank you for admiring all my hard work. I do put in a fair amount of hard work into it. Unfortunately, it’s not paying off. My meds and my sza brain get in the way of progress.

I would like to learn Fur Elise and Minuet in G Major. I am an intermediate piano player.

I might play at my church if I am good enough.
