My special needs cat died several months ago. He was 13. He was 10 years old when he became our permanent foster. They knew some about him after asking around the area. He’d lived under a porch by a building complex for many years. Children would harass him. They finally did something about him when the police found him sitting near the body of a dead man incidentally.
When he arrived he was very skittish and did not like children, but after a month he was a cuddle bear and loved nothing more than lying on my chest, purring. He bonded with my eldest son especially. He loved roasted chicken especially.
When we fostered kittens I was not sure of his reaction but he loved them. He would let them cuddle up to him, he showed them how to eat cat food, and he kept them in line if they were too rough with each other.
Anyway, it’s been very difficult for me. I decided to get a kitten as our three cats are 8,9 and 10. So this is a picture of a kitten we are considering adopting. It is 7 weeks old and very floofy. I’m going to name him/her Snowball McFluffypants.
Awe…your so kind as a feline is the most special animals to those mentally afflicted in my book.
I’m sorry for your loss but new adventures await and I’m so jealous. I’m that crazy cat uncle who can’t have a cat but when dad goes I’m adopting a rescue post haste!
Cute name, but snowball doesnt work IMO with the black fur…and since Dirtball makes it sound like he/she is the bad guy in a a dirty harry movie, I would go with Gizmo McFluffypants, in honor of her half Magwai heritage.
lol.. I’m JK. Name him/her whatever you choose. I’m just having fun.
