Hello to all 
I’m just joining you guys!
After a few years with symptoms, I’ve been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and PTSD from events around the time it started. I was wondering if anyone else has PTSD in addition to schizoaffective disorder? Interested in hearing others’ stories and maybe learning new coping skills.

Yes I have ptsd as well as schizophrenia. I have been talking to a psychologist and we were going to do trauma therapy but I’m pregnant now and I think she thinks it could put the baby under stress.
She’s been off for a couple of weeks though. But I’ll find out for sure next week when she is back.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find what you’re looking for. Same as you I have sza with ptsd. My symptoms are really good right now and other than drama with my adult child who has problems right now I’m pretty happy. It took therapy, time to heal and the death of my abuser for me to get to this level of healing. As far as the sza goes that takes plenty of meds and a strong conviction to keep taking them even when I don’t want to anymore. Good luck, enjoy the forum.

Pretty sure I have ptsd as well, but my pdocs wouldn’t diagnose me or even care, welcome to to forum.

I don’t know if I have ptsd or not. One time the cops did kick my ass pretty good, and I was kind of dazed for a couple of weeks, but since then I have had no other symptoms of ptsd that I haven’t always had.
