Mexican pinto beans are really good. I usually leave out the bacon, but if you like bacon you can add it. I don’t have a recipe off hand, but there are a million online.

Beans and cornbread are one of my husband’s favorite meals (he’s from Texas),

I love them because they’re easy, and they make great leftovers.

@led there are so many online I can’t pick

It’s rice with a bunch of healthy stuff on top. Google it for many ideas of toppings.

What about nachos? I usually use black, but pinto would also work.

You could eat pinto beans on top of pinto beans, with a side if pinto beans. And for dessert, ice cream!:icecream:

@SunLion I’m picking up what you’re putting down. As long as there’s ice cream who gives a f**k about the beans. I’m going to go change the shopping list.

I make Pinto beans

Chop small onion very finely, fry them in olive oil, add the canned already cooked beans on top, add tomato paste + I like to add a tiny bit of Chilly paste Turkish people make + salt + paprika.

I like to eat this with hallumi cheese.

Do you like canned ranch beans in the black can?

I boil one bag of minute rice. drain it off and put it in a tubberware. Next, I shake the can, open and pour it on rice. I never drain the ranch beans, i put juice and all. Third, stir very well.

After , i chop up the toppings: diced tomato, green onion, peppers, black olives, cilantro must be washed before chopping.

Then put individual servings of the beans and rice on a plate. A bit of shredded cheese goes on top. microwave. now add the toppings. Last, a handful of torillia chips on the side.

I like to use the chips to scoop it up and eat it.

Add Pinto (most other beans) to pot.
Simmer lightly while adding some olive oil, some salt,
Paprika, and Curry powder and garlic powder.
Gently warm for like 10 to 15 minutes then serve.
