It reminds me of when our neighbor let us use one of their two cottages located at the end of a peer. I rented a boat and had to travel a fare distance to get to the cottage. It took me 10 minutes to return the boat, but it took over 2 hours to get the boat to the cottage in the first place because a storm broke out.
The boat was flying up into the air and then came down and slapped real hard onto the water each time I crossed another huge wave. But I eventually made it too the cottage. It turned out I was the only person in sight who challenged those huge damn waves that day.
